Been a hot minute, hasn't it?

Granted I'm exaggerating a tad because I've had some decent stuff floating around in my cranium like a gag chapter with everyone playing "Pandemonium Mini-Golf" or a small mini-chapter with Cheery Donut & Friends worrying about a missing Lemontene but the only idea that's really stuck with me so far is Rikako lamenting from regret & shame about what happened back at the steakout so badly that she starts to legitimately consider taking her own life, climaxing in a heartfelt scene between her & everyone's favorite vengeful spirit (it's a bit of a long story, will elaborate if anyone's curious) . But then when I try to put it down to paper I suddenly get overwhelmed with the sense that it's a dumb idea to do this with what's essentially one of HSE's big unserious gag characters and then quit cold turkey.

Thankfully the threads have slowed down a little so I'm not as stressed to keep up as before, but that doesn't solve the fact that I'm currently between the creative equivalent of a rock and a hard place. What do >>(You), the viewer, want to see out of this storyline personally? Do you want to go back to more comedy like the beginning first couple chapters or are you interested in us getting a little more emotional?
