They can complain about the translation if the English reads like shit.
Translators should still be held accountable for their fuck-ups, even if they're feeding a starving fanbase. Just like how anons from here called out Mcjon's bullshit and caused him to admit Mahoyo was abandoned, any new attempts should not be spared criticism.
Obviously some things will slip here and there, but rushing shit just because you wanna be relevant or in the spotlight is inexcusable, it's doing a massive disservice to the VN.

Well yeah, I sincerely doubt that they can make anything worse or as bad as FGO in my eyes.
They can (and probably will) still make some bad games but even a bad game is an improvement over irredeemable dogshit, and they'll have variety in genres instead of focusing on the same brand of garbage all the time, which is a huge deal.

Hell, the fact that they'll be real videogames with individual releases isntead of eternally stretched out gachashit that will continue for as long as people pay for it already makes it way better than what we have now.

Yes it has lad, almost 4 years. It was long before the outpour of FGO cancer, when everyone was just excited for the ongoing UBW anime and already hyping HF.
And we got actual Tsukihime news months later.

Your analogy makes no sense. Melty Blood was never seen as, or treated as, the core of Type-Moon. It never received some special treatment or made millions of dollars, it never prevented works from other franchises to come out, it never fully grabbed Nasu's attention and gave him an excuse to stop writing his own full works, it never attracted a whole different audience that only cared about Servants and caused every single Type-Moon work to cater to them, it didn't finalize the decline of Nasu's works from interesting protagonists, to bland self-inserts all the time.

Melty Blood is exactly what FGO SHOULD have been, ideally. A good spin-off that people who are into that genre would love, that provides some cool new lore and characters. Not something that revolutionizes the entire fucking franchise and monopolizes Type-Moon as whole, for years.
Fuck, even the original Melty Blood was more of a VN than FGO trash, with a story told in full NVL, strange as that is to think about.

Goetia isn't bad, he's just mid tier as fuck.

>Inhuman villain: Humans would be way better as [state that seems strange or unnatural to humans]
>Heroes: But no! That's wrong because [commonly accepted human ethics and values]
>Heroes beat up the villain
>Villain: No!! I lost, you were right! If only I had been a real human boy, I could've understood this earlier!

It is LITERALLY the same fucking template of Persona 3, 4, and 5. It's an easy and lazy way of tying a huge number of characters under a single, fancy sounding "theme" that isn't really all that deep. Probably the best Nasu can do with gachashit, but that's yet again the limitation of the medium showing itself, you have to get all these shitty Servants in under the umbrella of "muh humanity".

It can't even be compared to the more intimate relation that Kirei, SHIKI, and Lio Shirazumi have with Shirou and the Shikis. Goetia has two interesting connections to Mashu and Roman, yet the player can do fucking nothing but parrot what Roman says. And Roman is sidelined as a totally secondary character for 98% of that shitty story. Once again, if it wasn't a gachashit, we might've had a remotely interesting protagonist.

Would you have the charisma and knowledge to teach a university lecture on Type-Moon, anon?
