She's implied to mostly do things alone, she doesn't actually have a huge attachment to the rest of the group. She was only assigned as Shou's hand because Shou became an avatar for Bishamonten.
She doesn't live at the temple; shortly after the ship was converted into the temple, she went to Muenzuka and built herself a house there, because there's supposedly a lot of treasure (previously mentioned in CoLA). Nazrin doesn't follow Byakuren's teachings, so she doesn't visit to train either.
