Let me fucking tell you something. You are not supposed to learn the language from flashcards. It's merely to nest the word into your brain so you can recognize it when you see it. It works much better for Japanese as well because Kanji provide meaning. Put an example sentence on the back (preferably where you got it from) and the problem stemming from lack of context is fixed.
