fkn kek that was literally me (but I didn't make that image - a different sir amused by my situation did)
also I now think she used one of the non-Lifestyle hard drives since one of them eventually gave me an alert reminding me to always safely eject before unplugging and that's something I already do every time without fail

/jav/ and JAV already take up too much of my time. I can't add any more forums and online communities to my plate.

I try to keep it pure: the code and nothing else
e.g. JUQ-244.mp4
For a while, I had an incomplete quasi-database pseudo-catalog in Obsidian to help me make sense of my collection; I just used that to browse my JAV complete with descriptions and other metadata and used Everything to then search the code and voilà.
Recently, however, I've been trying to get a Jellyfin server going (assisted by JAVinizer) which similarly wouldn't require me to do any special naming/organising stuff at the file level. Even specific actress folders are unnecessary

damn, I probably average 1.5TB a year kek do you download stuff indiscriminately/absolutely everything from certain studios/actresses or what?

honestly the "way too hot for gravure" angle she had was great
and it looks like you've done all the due diligence on trying to find them... at this point you might as well start saving as many extmatrix links as possible and getting a short membership to grab them all at some point

My approach thus far has been this too; organising by actress, going more granular and/or adding loads of metadata never felt necessary — even less so ever since I've been working an Obsidian vault that acts like a library catalog for my JAV (along with doujins and voice works). I don't need much information or organisation at the file storage/management level since I can just consult my catalog and locate what I want just like a librarian finding a book without requiring the books themselves to be super super well organised

looks interesting! Despite what I mention above, I am interested in something more streamlined and had my sights set on setting up a Jellyfin server

>2010
Impressive, please share or at least mention some names/code you particularly enjoyed from a bygone era. I think it'd prompt some interesting discussion

kek this is unfortunate sir
also what distro is this? I don't really game anymore and just want a super quick lightweight zero bloat machine for Obsidian, JAV, browsing, nothing crazy. I'm not a programmer but always enjoyed tinkering and have wanted to try gnu/Linux for a long time

Rollin'!
Also good job sir and thanks for the hard work! I've been working on a Hag Edition too but I'm really autistic about the layout/organisation and selection of hags so it's probably delayed for a while KEK

Unless there's a comparable sequence of events in mythology or a history or literature or something, I can't imagine anyone being able to invent a concise term for this exact situation kek

If we're talking /jav/ specifically, I feel like most sirs are just indifferent as opposed to actively having negative opinions about 2D and making them known. JAV already uses up too much of our mental faculties and spiritual focus to justify dedicating additional resources to complaining/thinking about 2D in any capacity

Actually this one isn't bad, most reaction images work well as crops unless there's outfits and props involved and part of the visual narrative
...in which case crops must not be under any circumstances redeemed
