Something like that.

There is definitely something about Kanako and motherliness. There's a lot of fan art out there with her wearing an apron and clearly in the position of 'mama'. I think it's the way her personality is brought out in the fanon.

Especially when Sanae is in the role of 'daughter' and Kanako acts like a typically clueless parent who can't connect with young people.
