The animators can't draw Chihaya happy most of the time unless she looks lewd or brain problems or hamster. Actually it's usually when they combine singing and happy like that part where they screw up, unless it's a low quality scene or some official art. Or just singing in general really, going through any of Chihaya's singing scenes she has some odd faces but faces are clearly not this series' strong point.
