Don't guess there's anywhere on 4chan to talk about western vtubers? I know they're not welcome here, and understand why, but am still wondering if there was anywhere here where they were discussed, and figured fans of eastern vtubers would be the ones to know.

The best thing about anime cards is that you just consume Japanese content normally and keep the tools by your side when you actually come across something where you need them, making the transition to understanding everything and not needing to mine a smooth one.
That is as opposed to all the guys who insist on turning everything into a learning tool, feel the need to send entire anime seasons through subs2srs and never stop doing shit that is focused on learning, rather than assisting consuming.

Speaking from my experience of studying English, you only need around 2000 words to be drilled into your head through dumb memorization. Everything else is learned naturally, as you read and listen.
My vocabulary has gone from 2k up to around 10-11k since I finished my first and only textbook.
All I did was watching movies, reading books and shitposting on 4chan.
