Knitting is quite easy to learn; it's more about patience and consistency than any sort of actual skill. The hardest thing is learning how to undo your mistakes without causing more.
That one took about an hour and a half, probably a little longer, only because the checkerboard pattern actually required me to pay attention to what I was doing. I've gotten to the point where normally, I just put on some Chinese Cartoons, and then I can knit without really paying attention.

I made that one for another anon, actually. It's based on the one Mamizou wears in FS. Here's the one I have for myself.

I normally make full sized scarves, so working on a quick small one that was done in about an hour was surprisingly fun. If people are interested, I could probably make a few more small ones. My email is spamface567@gmail.com.
