Well, I don't think GPT-3 level stuff will change that much, but I guess somewhere in the future there could be, and by that time you either have a TTS Miku to make use of it or you don't, and I'd rather have it. Maybe Crypton can do it after they finished all NT voicebanks (since they'll probably not do an NT 2, and talking voicebanks are simpler than singing ones).

Even if it doesn't improve much, It'd be at least nice to have Miku read a book to me while I sleep.

Miku already has tons of character songs, though Miku Miku Ni Shite Ageru is probably the most relevant one.
