Suwako snickers as she watches another potential suitor scramble down the mountain path. This is the third one this month that hasn't been able to resist ogling her immature-looking curves instead of Sanae's lavicious figure. As an ancient goddess, she has had millennia to hone her seductive skills, and these mortal men are like putty in her hands.

Kanako soon joins her, an irritated look on her face. "Why must you continue to torment Sanae so?" she asks. "She is heartbroken every time one of those boys fails your ridiculous test."

Suwako laughs loudly. "Oh please, don't pretend you understand affairs of the heart, my dear snake virgin. Sanae will find a worthy husband when the time is right. I'm just making sure of it." She smirks and pokes Kanako in the side. "Though perhaps you're just jealous that I can seduce men so easily while you remain untouched after all these years?"

Kanako's eye twitches but she keeps her composure. "Unlike you, I have no interest in the affections of mortals," she says haughtily.

"No need to be shy!" Suwako says cheerfully. "I could give you some tips if you'd like. Maybe then you'd loosen up a bit instead of being such a stick in the mud all the time!"

Kanako grits her teeth, at a loss for how to respond to the insolent frog's teasing. Suwako laughs again, clearly delighting in getting under her fellow partner-in-crime's skin. She may be helping Sanae in her own way, but that doesn't mean she can't have a little fun at Kanako's expense too.
