My downie sister crossed the sanzu a few days ago. I moved away 2 months ago for a job in another city. I'm home now but leaving soon and I don't know how I can leave my parents alone. Everything feels so fucked since the lockdown. I just don't feel anything about anything anymore.

Webp is a decent format, people (and i) think it's annoying for just 2 reasons - most sites don't support it when uploading files, and you have to jump through half a hoop trying to open it on your computer.
From what i understand it is jewgle's format and there forcing it onto everyone which is why the adoption of it on websites (to display) is so fast but adoption in user programs (like your OS) is so slow. Because the adoption is artificial.
It's tolerable on desktop, i have a script that quickly converts all webp files in the folder to png. But it is very annoying when phonefagging, you have to upload it to a website and then download it back
