You mission is to get Ran to let her mask slip by getting Orin to take Chen on an unannounced vacation to the underworld so Ran has to chase her so Yukari is forced to rely on you for the housework so Ran gets in trouble so you can see Ran earnestly be mad at you but it backfires so you use your last trick up your sleeve and have your hidden ally Yukari be the straw that breaks the camel's back by slipping Ran's favorite trinket/snack she's been saving into your pocket.

So, her father was only one of a few, the one that passed… It was a concerning thought to see how much influence Yukari had in her life just from that alone. Hana’s voice was grimmer than she intended as she asked, “Then, how was my father chosen above the others…?”

A complex expression was forming on Ran’s face, as her eyes shifted around side to side like she was piecing something together just as Hana was. Ran’s voice became softer now, like she was feeling out something in her own mind, “My role in the process was just busywork, finding the candidates, researching them, and compiling reports… It was Yukari-sama that had the final decision, and it was on her initiative that they be observed… Master had to be careful at that stage, it was important to not let even minor personality flaws and secrets be unknown.”

It was then that it finally clicked for Hana, the HSE, Yukari’s night visits with her, how she perverted her relationship with her father, and the way she played with Hana when she was trapped… Hana found her hands starting to sweat as she crossed her arms across her belly, “Thank you for answering my questions and… I think I have my answer now…”

Ran gazed at the face of Hana, her own face looked haunted by some previous memory, “I believe I’ve come to my own as well.”

Seeing that the most of the conversation was done for the first time Totetsu spoke up, for some reason the monster wearing human skin sighed and tapped Ran on the head using her spork, “I told you Ranni, don’t let it eat you up. Eating things is my job around here!”

They were friends…? Hana supposed it made sense as to why she was here then. Ran did lighten up at Totetsu’s jest waving away the spork and seeming unable to conceal a small smile, “Yes, you’re right. It’s not a thought I need weighing me down…”

Aya spoke up next, she turned to Hana. Despite the more easy-going mood the two across from them fostered her own face was still analytical. Aya’s voice was measured, but she could feel a tinge of concern, “Hana-san, what conclusion did you come too?”

Her words caught the attention of Ran and Totetsu who turned to face her, Hana realized it sounded idiotic now. Still, it was a gut feeling and one of the few good lessons her mother gave her was to trust her instincts. Hana addressed Aya but let her voice carry to the rest, “I… For awhile I thought it was a simple obsession, that Yukari-san had a simple… infatuation… with father.” Hana swallowed down spit and tried to collect her thoughts, “But now, I think its worse than that. I can’t tell you exactly why I believe it, but it’s a strong feeling I got that Yukari-san doesn’t just want father. She wants a family.”
