Better yet, it combines the meanings of “Fire ()” (power and, well, flames/fire) with “Lake ()” (old and connection, the realization of boundaries). I just find it a pleasant coincidence that Reimu's views on her powers and her life being plainly about using those mighty powers and nothing else, and then her denial of this continuous cycle, breaking it through sheer love and willpower, took her to be gifted flames not to kill or destroy, but to protect Hana; while Yukari has lost so much of her connection to other people and life itself, she can't even recognize the true love Chen and Ran feel for her, this life of loneliness and unresolved trauma leading her to forsake natural life and seek to force it through cold science and magic
all the while, Hana is left to carry the consequences of their deeds.

not the guy, but my bet is that Reimu is gonna lay the groundwork like giving talks, being a mirror to Hana's actions/sins and mainly a living proof that you can escape the shadow of your mistakes, and Anon will strike at the core of the problem just like Hana did when she left home. Would be nice if the Mu gives Hana the tools to solve her problems and Anon guides her there with his support and love
