ok so /jp I actually liked utawarerumono. I thought the characters where full and flushed out, I enjoyed the art, and I liked the baw ending. Is there another VN that leaves you with the same ending and has the same scope of storyline emphasis like this game?

Just finished the game, and wanted to make a thread about it.
I enjoyed it thoroughly, although it was really short, probably due to only having one main route(compared to Tsukihime, which had multiple routes)
While it had an awesome twist and stuff with the major back story of Hakuoro, when he was the innocent archaeologist and the Iceman, it just felt that it never did flow with the rest of the story well, which mostly was about Hakuoro as the Emperor of Tusuku. While many of the wars were certainly incited by Diy, it just felt that a huge draft of story was just added on to the current story and then planting plot points such as Diy inciting wars, and Witsu-whathismask-tea making a contract with Eruru prior to the events of the game.
tl;dr final arc of the game(along with Hakuoro's backstory) just felt like another smaller story added on to the story of Hakuoro the Emperor.

So when do I get to the first H-scene?
I've just completed the battle which required you to hack down whatitsname gate and not a single scene has appeared. Minimal to no spoilers please.
