I always thought that maybe the reason Gura is so secretive is maybe because there's a mismatch in what she wants people to think she does and enjoys off-stream and what she actually does and enjoys off-stream. I have no idea what that would entail, but if Gura had to hide everything she enjoyed doing while spending time with us, then it makes sense that she would eventually distance herself from her fans and Hololive over time.
