Ok so Illya is the personification of Rin's lost innocence. Rin hates her own coomer self and part of her believes that it's her impurity that prevents her from finding true love - notice how Illya's hair are white compared to Rin's black, showing that they are in fact opposites.
Illya controlling Berserker (The personification of Rape) is quite a giveaway, Illya is Rin's innocence so this relationship represents her ability to keep the impurity (Rin's coomer rape fantasies) under control. Cont.
In Fate, Illya isn't able to snare Shirou but is able to be still close to him. This represents what I said about Rin believing its her Impurity yhat's keeping her away, and that maybe if her impurity got removed (Berserker dies) then she abd Shirou would naturally grow close together.
In UBW, Gilgamesh Kills Illya and rips her heart out. Gilgamesh is her foster dad's fabulous rich gay boyfriend, rich and powerful guy with a lot of harisma. It was meeting him that awoke rape fantasies in him, she wants to be dominated by someone so powerful. That's why he kills Rin's innocence, literally ripping her heart out, after which the pure personification of Rape (Berserker) breaks his chains.
In Heaven's feel, Shirou is snared by the town bicycle and is dying from STD's. The blackpilled rin gives up and gives in to despair (Sakura beats and mindbreaks her), but Rin's lost innocence is - in her fantasies- still able to reach him and grow close to him at such a hopeless moment (The personification of Rape breaks free and is about to kill Illya but Shirou defeats it himself; the fallen Shirou is able to be partially redeemed by the innocence and in turn it allows the innocence to win with its eternal struggle with rape fantasies).
At the end of Heaven's Feel, Shirou becomes deformed and is dying as a symbol of both literal (STD's) and metaphorical corruption od the town bicycle. Still, Illya can sacrifice herself to free Shirou's soul and purify him. In other words, even in tje blackpill that Shirou would turn from her anyways Rin tells herself that her lost innocence would be able to "save" shirou and make him loyal and pure instead of corruptable by the town bicycle. This is a texbook example of the "He's so bad, but with love I can change him!" fallacy that delusional girls go through, Rin's subconcious believing that her innocent self would, through self sacrifice, be able to turn the popular womanizer Shirou into the ideal husband.
