It's kind and tactful of you to word it that way, but I know my metaphors suck. Long since stopped taking them seriously anyway.

Also, in hindsight it was probably a mistake associating Sanae with something that is long, hard, thick and moist and shoots stuff out of the tip. It's really not doing her a favour.
Just stock footage with submarines is good imagery for stereotypical courage and majesty.
