Takano's motivation for murdering a village of people who did nothing to her never made sense, she wasn't even getting back at the people who caused her grandfather to commit suicide other than proving his theories right, even though we knew that a lot of what he said was wrong. She's kinda like Satoko in that her motives shouldn't lead into what she actually did, so I never felt anything for her. Then again, Matsuribayashi as a whole is a mess with plotholes here and there, and probably had a troubled production. Takano's story most certainly suffered because of it.
