He IS a guy. He has hobbies that are relatively normal for guys and so on and so forth. In fact, he is considered somewhat boyish even (from characters thinking he is a girl). He makes a better "onee-sama" than an "imouto", if you know what I mean.
He ends up the girliest character simply because the other girls are just so weird. One girl somehow manages to make anyone puke from whatever she "cooks", let alone is not capable of having an even somewhat clean room, another pisses in a bottle and let's him take care of it (although that's in part her trying to seduce him... but using THAT method gives away what kind of girl she is..), and the last one has a serious case of chuuni. (and is still the best girl in the game, as that's still the most normal in a way..)

Part of the game's theme is kinda, that girls may not be what you think, and a nice girly girl is an illusion. Which is why I said, it's somewhat a meme, that he is voted for "best girl" so much. He isn't any more special than most of the other trap protagonists out there. They are mostly very similar anyway.

Don't bother, the route is shit. It's one of those 500kb routes where nothing happens and if anything seems to happen, they backpedal to the status quo.

Honestly, the girls in that game suck. The chuuni one is acceptable and her route isn't suffering from the issues of the "main" heroine, but I feel like you can only really like this if you are into traps, or rather this specific trap.

Chuuni route in Otome Domain done.

This was definitely better than Kazari's route. For one thing it was a bit shorter. It had actually somewhat of a flow. The romance was actually somewhat of a topic and unlike all the ~400kb of Kazari's route, there was even somewhat like a date.
On the other hand there was still a rather silly final part. And while the trap-thing was a bit better handled, it was still rather.. I dunno. Lackluster, I suppose.


One thing I'm a bit sad about though. Kazari can actually be a pretty nice character. You just don't see anything of that in common, nor in most of her route. They really fucked this up.
Will not be playing the third route. Otome Domain is.. okay. I did expect more though with the positive resonance it got.
