The devs are known to track bandwidth consumption so something like a macro that refreshes to farm drops faster would really be asking for it. You're not going to get on the leaderboard for refreshing after e4's boss, though, since the sorties take a long time. Something that keeps giving sortie orders on an exact timer is also easy to track.
