Okay, I know you are a troll, but there are countless people here who seriously believe this, and I have grown beyond sick of it. YES, /JP/ USED TO LIKE UMINEKO. Just look at the fucking archives. Threads like http://archive.foolz.us/jp/thread/1880179 . Before the anime aired, we all loved Umineko. I fucking got into Umineko because /jp/ was all over it. We have fucking archives to disprove such ridiculous revisionism, yet everybody keeps insisting /jp/ has always hated Umineko and all Umineko fans are /a/ posters who migrated here after the anime aired. It's complete nonsense, we loved it before the anime aired. We used to speculate what the anime would be like. We used to groan together as the anime raped every part of ep1-4's story. Stop being idiots mindlessly repeating everything people say.

It's the same thing with Katawa Shoujo. Act1's release was a total surprise, and we were unsure if it was a troll when it was first posted on /jp/. It was considered vaporware, then got a sudden large demo release. Then, it got popular and off-board people came to /jp/ to discuss Katawa Shoujo. /jp/ joked that with the amount of threads being posted, it must be the Katawa Shoujo devs themselves that post them. (Note: 95% of the KS team is too pretentious to post on /jp/. Most if not all of the writers view VNs as an inferior medium compared to TRUE LITERATURE.) But the newbies couldn't distinguish a joke from the truth, and now everybody seems to agree that KS devs have been viral marketing the game on /jp/ since long before the release.
