I don't know if I would call it celibacy or even purity. I stay away from relationships because they are not healthy.

We have an instinctual urge to procreate and this urge compels us to feel loneliness and to yearn for relationships, but primal urges like this are rarely based in reason. For example, you might feel anger, but that does not mean you should strike people.

When you take a step back and observe relationships then anyone can see they are unhealthy. Relationships are based upon filling a void within yourself, often this is loneliness. You cannot fill part of yourself with someone else though. If you try to then you essentially chain yourself to them and you become dependent upon them to sustain your happiness.

Happiness comes from inside of you, not from anyone else. Find emotional peace inside of yourself and use it to eliminate the loneliness. You need no one other than yourself to feel happy.

What is a fully evolved truNEET?

For many years I used to feel lonely and some part of me longed for friendship or maybe even a relationship, even though I would never admit it, but then all of the sudden those feelings just went away and never came back. I don't wish for companionship anymore and complete solitude is one of my favorite things when it used to make me feel lonely.

Have I ascended? Is this the final form of the truNEET?

>I may have no friends and no future

There's nothing better than this though. You're in a great place. You've freed yourself from the shackles that the vast majority of the world are chained to.

Most people live a life surrounded by friends and they constantly look towards their bright future, never enjoying the present moment and always anticipating this supposedly impending time of bliss that they expect to come in the future, whether this is retirement or something like becoming wealthy.

What is a life filled with nothing but looking towards the future and barely paying attention to the present? It's not a life at all. They'll eventually die after having barely lived and even on their deathbed they will be looking to this illusion that they've based their life around and expecting heaven or an afterlife, just another thing off in the future.

Most people on /jp/, you included, are actually in the best place possible. You may have no friends, but that only means you're free of obligations, have plenty of time to enjoy your own company and savor your hobbies and passions, and you are disconnected from the social pressures that causes people to base their life around what is essentially a never-ending chase to reach the mirage off in the distance.

Don't you see? You expect nothing from the future and you have no friends, so you are free to enjoy this moment as much as you possibly can.

Learn something or explore your mind.

I used to be like you and I still am a shut-in NEET, but I've learned this is the most valuable time that we have. You have access to the internet, a near unlimited source of completely free knowledge on any subject you could ever be interested in.

Find something you are interested in and learn about it. If you're not interested in anything in reality then maybe you should delve into your mind. I've found that to be some of the most interesting things that I've done in these last few years. Meditation, creating thought-forms, or mastering lucid dreaming are all pretty great ideas.

Don't think of yourself as trapped inside of your house with nothing to do. If anything, we have access to far more than most people, even typical normalfags who are in college or careers right now. We have unlimited amounts of time to do whatever we want. We aren't held down by jobs and obligations that would occupy our minds and keep us from being able to spend the entire day being passionate about a hobby or just lost in thought. Imagination is really the most wonderful ability that we have and it's an ability that most normal people have lost touch with, mostly because they are outside and they're so busy that they don't have time to imagine anymore. Through the mastery of your mind you can experience any adventure that you've ever dreamed of from, so why go outside? Everything you could ever want is already inside of your mind.

Meditation is a great way to deal with fear, depression, anxiety, and other emotions.

Once you've accepted the idea that some day you might be thrown out onto the street and starve to death then it won't be scary anymore. Who says that you have to be upset when you feel fear? Even if something is a genuine threat to your life and there's no way to avoid it then you still don't have to be scared. Fear, depression, anger, or any emotion only bothers you because you allow it to.

Why do you care so much? Practice meditation and come to the realization that it doesn't matter if you die. Completely let go of everything and then you can live your life happily.
