I feel kinda dirty that I recognize that crappy shadow ripoff.

Good idea for a thread, a focus on mask-making in general would be cool too. favorites would be sorta redundant, I'd think, the top few makers are going to be on everyone's list.

I like GKO and Sigma and Iluca, but there is things I like and dislike about all of them. I'm curious to see how Gaka improves, good smoothness and such, needs to work on lip shape though. Tsuki needs to reveal more shit, It's hard to judge off of just 3 or 4 masks.

Come to think of it, Toiei's go-to studio does some very slick work with costumes and hair, though the masks can sometimes be hit-or-miss depending on the character.

Well, the ones you linked are from a variety of makers, so I can't say I can see a definite patter. They're all well-made though! I have pretty particular tastes myself.
And yes, there's girls that do this. It's not a boy-only thing, there's just a very large trend towards males outside of the professional ones.
