>Izuru's decision making and survival rate seems to be better than Astel's
I would actually argue against this point. I've noticed that Astel is actually really good at finding windows for retreats and executing them, providing he isn't in the heat of a fight when shit hits the fan. When he is though, his decision process seems to prioritize trying to fight through, which makes for flashy plays and flashy deaths if it doesn't work out.

Now lets compare this to Izuru. I agree that he has a calmer and more cautious play style compare to Astel, but you cannot deny that there are a LOT of moments where he just straight up dies, sometimes without a sound. And every time it happens it really stands out, since the usual pattern is
>Fight breaks out
>Astel reloads/uses recovery items
>Astel notices the situation going south for them and promptly orders a retreat
>Moments later Izuru goes in and dies
Which leads me to conclusion that Izuru is really, really poor at disengaging. When the man goes into the tank, he tunnel visions hard, which is why Astel always, ALWAYS, tells them to give a reply when he barks out orders.

>tl;dr Izuru does not necessarily have better decision making and survival rate compared to Astel
>Izuru simply has a more conservative and safer play style in general
>Provided he doesn't go full monke, Astel still has a better sense and technique for disengaging when shit goes south

Team RAG looking to be a solid Top 5 team makes me wish I could've seen how well Chibistars would have fared. That promise to take first place the next tournament was so close for the taking...

After discussing with fellow anons and running through several options, we have decided to start a new parallel thread labeled /homolive/ in which you can freely talk about gay members of hololive.

Why?
It is under no surprise that homosexual posters are a majority here, but posting about their oshi has received heavy criticism by our community and there's even a couple of dedicated "schizophrenic" posters falseflagging about Flare, Marine, Miko and the Holostars on a daily basis to cut our conversations short and overall ruin the thread.

What should I post about?
We will be discussing the shenanigans of openly gay holopro members such as Astel, Shien, Tenma, Flare, Kanata, Miko, Marine, Kiara. You can also post about suspiciously gay members like Gura, Matsuri, Pekora and Roberu.

What should I not post about?
While posting about non gay holomen or other V-Tubers is allowed, it is heavily discouraged and should only pertain to collaboration streams.

I will start the first thread this Friday and see how it all plays out, You are all invited!
