I mean, you could also sing normally fast and speed up the audio, there is nothing you can't do with Vocaloid that you can't with an audio processor and effects unit (once you have someone who can sing and someone with the technical ability). Vocaloid is for people who can compose songs but can't sing or find a singer (the ones that moves on to traditional singers after getting experience and success) or just enjoys vocaloid and wants to produce vocaloid songs.
