Also, don't listen to faggots telling you that being good means 1CCing Lunatic. If you can, that's great, but that's not the point of the game. If you bombed your way through, you really didn't do what you were supposed to. PCB is good for learning the game; not too hard, not too easy. IN is much easier, so you can probably start on Hard without much difficulty. EoSD will teach you to know where your hitbox is without actually being able to see it, and you'll stop focusing when it's not necessary. MoF is harder than IN, but easier than PCB, and the Lunatic mode is sheer genius. If you cannot seem to pace your mind during heavy danmaku spam, play StB. It almost always helps when it comes to staying calm under pressure, and the patterns tend to be much more complex, so the next time you see a pattern similar to it, you'll know how to deal with it.

If you like fightan gaems, you could play IaMP or SWR. IaMP's learning curve is extremely steep whether you're experienced in fighters or not; SWR is much more friendly, but higher-level combat is stiffed as compensation.
