Uhhh, you're kinda forgetting about the kappa here. Or the fact that Hatate has a flip phone, and that Aya probably has a plenty modern camera, rangefinders are no joke and are almost clockwork. Oh, also the huge fucking super robot that the Moriyas and kappas now own. And maybe the fact that Kanako is supporting the further development of technology and even managed to achieve fusion by using Okuu.

Technology is fun and stuff, but when faith and magic gets you as far as it does in Gensokyo, not only is your technology stronger but you don't even need to rely on it like we do. That said, I wanna show Aya some modern film photography or the power of a Phase One sensor so I get to call dibs on her!
