How long does it usually take for a decent outline of the event to be available, including drops (difficulty-exclusive ones would be extra interesting, but alas), enemy formations, possible fleet compositions, etc?

I'm struggling with myself over going for normal (or even hard) instead of just saying fuck it and blazing through the whole thing on easy...

My main concern is the ship locking to be honest.
Plus not being able to farm as many cuties (hello there, Harusame on E-2) because of the higher difficulties making it harder to reach the farmable nodes...

If you can't tell, it's my first event.
