DQ8 has a happy ending and she's already gotten the base ending, she's just getting the true ending which just some additional scenes and a happier ending. DQ11 had music and references to other Dragon Quests that Noel played that took her back to her childhood which is why she cried so hard at the end because she was filled with nostalgia and emotion.
