This is from the finale of Liar Game. Who is trusting whom in the text boxes I circled in red? Are Akiyama and Kanzaki trusting the players not to want to win through betrayal, or are the players trusting Akiyama and Kanzaki to not want to win through betrayal?

The English translation says the latter, but I think it might be the former. The translation has been wrong in the past.
