Huh, I've been playing FKG for years and I've only just realized that the nation of a knight is influenced by the day for which she is the birth flower: This seems to be the reason that plants like Saffron (December 7), Cineraria (December 14), Primrose (January 25) and the entire orchid mansion crew (December 4 for Oncidium, December 13 for Dendrobium, January 13 for Cattleya, January 17 for Cymbidium) belong to Winter Rose, despite having little to do with the cold.

Another thing that cropped up while looking at Nazuna's flower-of-the-day tweets: There's a plant called カノンチク (well, it's カンノンチク but same difference) that has a flower meaning of "smart lady". バカじゃないの.

The whale airship is the most consistent source of bloom hearts and second affection gifts, and while not necessarily end-game material, its barrier of entry is high enough that you probably won't be able to do it just yet. For now, it's best to rely on log-in campaigns to max out your favorites, and it's not a bad idea to buy the cheaper set of bloom hearts from the life crystal shop either.

Once you get a fledgling whale ship going (which means 40 well-raised girls, 16 of which should have the same element to change the whale type), a far greater number of hearts will become available to you - I've maxed out around 170 girls so far, and still have a few more bloom hearts to be used.
