I don't live in Japan but I seriously think some of you guys that are posting about how AKB has ruined things or whatever are seriously overreacting. I feel like most of you are getting fringe opinions from certain people and suddenly that's what 'people in Japan think.'

Taylor Swift is probably the biggest idol in the world at the moment. Sure there are those hipsters and people who only listen to metal that will hate her, and there are also a lot of people who like her and her music. She's also constantly appearing in the media from numerous boyfriends, etc., but I've never felt 'bombarded' by it. Besides, pop music always appear everywhere, what did you expect?
