i actually feel sorry for people who have watched more than 100 anime series. i have, half of which have been sol and bad shounen like kny, and it has been an absolute nightmare. frankly i think i'm becoming a monster like gon.

if you have the intuition for which shows are good then you don't need to watch more than maybe 10 to 20 shows before moving on to some other medium.

probably killua because of his growth through the show. and like i said before i like how he does a role reversal with gon during CA. also his power is neat. meruem is a strong second for obvious reasons. i haven't read all of the manga but what i have read has been great. it expands on the lore behind the world the chimera ants came from and it continues kurapika's storyline. although the manga is currently on hiatus and its stuck partway through an arc. it might be best to wait a decade so togashi can finish it.

you're completely right. even adult gon would get smashed. but gon is a far better character from a far better show so that's ok.
