>The year is M41
>The Adeptus Kroniicus has conquered the recently discovered world of Veetee with the aid of an Iron Hands successor chapter, the Ourotors
>The Kroniicus has long searched for the far flung world, as they believe their god, the Kroniissiah, once visited it and claim the planet as holy ground
>As such, two high ranking Kroniicus members, Tennantaruis Cawl and Archmagos Gosling plan to come to the planet on a holy pilgrimage
>Unfortunately, the local population had turned to worshipping Chaos, with major cults across the entire planet—most dedicated to the god of death and dark secrets
>The cults are too ingrained to allow for mass conversion to the Kroniicus faith
>They must be purged so that those left may see the light
>To remedy this problem, (You) and your squad have been assigned to purge the the hive city known as ‘Infinity’

>The drop pod rattles violently as it crashes through the atmosphere
>But you have no fear
>You look around at the rest of your squad
>Each of you is a decorated techmarine, like the rest of your chapter, each with bodies of half man and half machine, a willing sacrifice to the Kroniissiah
>Your sergeant patiently taps his chainpick and then speaks with a booming voice
>”Remember brothers—Beware the redditor, the tourist, the doxxbeat. Suffer them not to live.”
>As luck would have it, your squad is not completely alone in this endeavor
>You are being supported by a living legend of the chapter, Brother Takeshi
>A single Ourotor atop a jetbike who managed to defend an entire planet from a Black Legion invasion through sheer force of will and dedication to the Kroniissiah, even when confronted with a greater demon of chaos
>Victory was achieved at the cost of Takeshi’s mortal body
>Too badly wounded to be fitted with cybernetics, he was given the great honor of being interred into a dreadnought
>It is said all one needs to say to awaken him are three sacred numbers
>19-5-24
>Reflecting on this, you take out an ancient remembrancer sketch of your god in corporeal form
>The simple illustration fills you with righteous purpose
>You will fulfill your duty to the Kronnissiah, you will fight for her, and you will die for her
>The drop pod comes to a thunderous halt
>Drawing your own chainpick and bolter you kick down the door of the drop pod, ready for battle
