It depends. In some cases, the artwork is superb, take Kama for example. ReDrop really did his fucking best, I want to suffocate myself with that cleavage. But in other cases, some really weird shit happens. For example, Calamity Jane, which came out in 2019 I believe, was actually leaked back in 2016 and didn't go through any significant changes, making you wonder why the hell did they not release her earlier. When she came out, she looked painfully outdated. In another case, Astraea (Luviaface designed by Toh Azuma, who's working on the Case Files manga) was apparently released in an unfinished state, with a broken aspect ratio that made her look pretty damn ugly. Azuma then had to apologize on Twitter due to backlash, even though I'm not even sure if it was his fault.
The truth of the matter is, artwork in FGO is not even bad, it's just about as consistent as pigeon shit, which is strange to me because DW has some of the best artists in the industry working for them. Makes you wonder if the fault lies with management.
