>Do other Innocent gray games follow the same pattern?
No. Pianissimo and Caucasus are really different in that sense.
Caucasus only has one culprit you catch during the main final climax (but there are endings where other -innocent- characters take the blame instead)..
And Pianissimo is like, you hook up with the main heroine go on romantic date with her, have sex with her in the evening and you find her in the bed by your side with a knife plunged in her heart, and blood everywhere, including all over you. Then the game is about whether you committed this murder (and the hooker girl half an hour into the game), or you are just being framed by someone.
>I don't get how reading KnS spoils Cartagra
As I said before it's like when Yura is pretending to be Kazuna right after Yaginuma comes and saves the day, you know that Kazuna is not blind in KnS, therefore the girl with the bandage can't be Kazuna. Twins pretending to be their other twins is cliche anyway, there are so many of those I don't even raise an eyebrow at those anymore.

Yeah they are worth playing definitely, but as I said before, don't expect amazing story to blow you away in Pia, and Caucasus too has many smaller issues in my opinion. Benio is delicious though.
