What are you talking about? Outside of mentioning it during one All Night Nippon radio program (in which case it was purely incidental since it was something that happened just the day before iirc), there was no nationwide apology bullshit.
And you seem to be have gotten things wrong: they weren't ridiculing Sasshi but the "scandal" itself. You don't try to "ridicule" someone by making them a regular in Waratte Iitomo or the co-host of Odekake and another bunch of AKB shows, that's for sure.
What you should remark about is just how quickly the whole thing was downgraded from "biggu sukyandaru" to "laughing matter to joke about at the edge of the program", all the while Sasshi keeps receiving fame, spotlight and positive attention through a number of solo projects like no-one else.
