To the wise older /jp/ers ( if they are still here), do you think the internet/life was a better place for nerds in the 80s/90s? I mean when nerds actually ruled the internet and nerds hobby's instead of hipsters and normals? Think back, remmber how big and interesting the internet was? with millions tons of different small websites for just nerds? Now the internet might be faster, but i think its not as entertaining, sure there might be more websites but they are mostly websites for business,socialshit, and other non nerd shit. It could also be said for not just the internet but video games,tv,etc The nerds are not in control any more, we lost our place to hipsters, the new and cool "nerds" and normals, who today are basically hipsters or try to be hipster. The real nerds are suffering.. we have no place to go, look, look at /jp/ and you can see just how bad nerds have it. we have to put up with kids who were born in the hipster age, spamming shit because they have no life and don't care about anything other then "I wonder how they will react to this" typical hipster thinking. Also beside this, can you remember what you were doing like in 1993? Where did you go to hang out on the internet? were did you get your Japanese products? I find the internet back then much more interesting than it is now.

He actually draws surprisingly okay, until he fucking colors that shit in. Although really the terrible art is actually a very important part of why Touhou is so popular.. everyone wants to go draw the character themselves (and much better than ZUN) and in this way the fan community shapes out some of the details and can even change the character's appearance/mannerisms over time.

Like for example Yukari was never drawn with tits by ZUN, in fact she was pretty flat. However, after years and years of fans drawing her with a fucking huge chest (probably the largest of all Touhous), it's basically become canon now. Or rather, ZUN doesn't give a fuck enough to correct anyone on it.
