I was wondering if someone could help me with my autistic and pedantic pursuit of knowledge.

For context, this cute little shit thinks she invented throwing and catching a ball; she decided to name the game Komatsu after the owner she loves very much. Her owner throws a ball up over the roof, it bounces back and it comes back into his hand.

I read the picture on the left as something like "Using another person in Komatsu is against the rules!" (i.e. there's someone on the other side of the roof throwing it back). The official translation is "Using an additional ball is against Komatsu rules!". I got confused because there's no mention of a ball, but then I thought one of the のs referred to the ball because it's known by the context. Lesson learned, moving on.

Then the comic ends with the panel on the right. I read it as "Does the person up there know that! Muco is the champion!". The official translation is "Did the person up there hear that Muco is the champion!?".

So...was I right all along? There is literally no reference to someone being 'up there' in the official translation, they said it was an additional ball.
