Same here. I treated D.I like a galge and went for Kei because childhood friends deserve to get FUCKED in every way except the obvious one, Rea is a chestlet and Marie is ghost stuck in an inanimate object- or so I thought at first. I read her route and then dropped it only to pick it back up because the chuuni stuff was interesting and got stuck in my head. I still like Kei (I straight up skipped the romantic scenes for all the other girls) but the chuuni stuff was definitely more interesting. I also think that >>20414268 is right about the indoctrination because at this point I find snek to be as attractive as Kei and that's very OK.Those character designs definitely favor male characters over female ones. Kei comes out OK but I don't think that the style favours "soft" girls like Kasumi or Marie.

I'm a lowly EOP but I do know about Hajun. Being alone for eternity would suck ass, and it's a pointless craving if you're going to become the most powerful being in existence. Mercurius' law, as I understand it, initially was to know everything, which is how he gave birth to foreknowledge, and eternal recurrence happened because he wanted to die in the arms of Marie. Wanting to know everything and wanting your life to end the way you want it to is perfectly reasonable. Much more reasonable than wanting to fight for eternity, becoming a vampire, or being loved by senpai forever.
