What can I do? When she starts making a racket I usually pick her up and squeeze her until she calms down. It doesn't always work though, so I might need to get up a few times. It's like taking care of a baby, but instead she's a whiny old cat.

If I'm successful though she might sleep at the end of my bed all night.

She's actually in my lap atm. So soft
