What was 2011 like for you, /jp/?

I decided to get a job, then lost all my motivation after being turned down by three different establishments.

I decided get a car license, but lost my will to learn the theory after two days.

I decided to go on with my kanji studying and set myself a deadline to reach a certain amount before the end of the month. I stopped learning (again) more than a week ago.

My anime backlog is huge and I don't even feel like going through it.

Why is being a NEET so depressing?

Remember when you had dreams of things you wanted to do once you graduated high school? Like studying a new skill, or travelling around the world. I remember mine, but here I am, a NEET of one year already and not showing any signs of change.

Another gloomy and depressing at home has started.

I actually got pretty close recently but it seems all the effort and time I put in it is at loss.
