I know, first world/north tyris problems, but this is an interesting problem for me. Which metal pet to train. I want to train my character's previous master Akeno which was of the metal race with my previous character but what metal pet to use as a base. Changing names and gender of pets is a nonissue with forbidden meat and current options. Hero cheese and magic fruit are non issues too for where I'm at in the game.

Karata is a partial throwback to how metal pets were before their metal bit nerf. cMetal used to resist both magic attacks and physical damage but now it's just physical. Well Karata here is special because he has elemental immunity combined with being metal.

I brought Karata out and blew him up with spells to see if his elemental immunity is true. He's completely immune to all spell damage except magic and water and has 90% physical damage resistance. Both Pro Jet and Karata are melee based metal pets which makes them different than your typical bell. Karata has better speed and attributes but that INI score just makes me imagine how dreadful it's going to be to get AP and the amount of gold that it will devour to visit its trainer.

Picture has Akeno currently using Pro Jet as a base but I could change it easily. At any rate, wanted to bring attention to the new metal pet added to the game. Pet owner veterans further along in the game might be interested in having such a pet. Definitely wouldn't recommend it to people new to the game though as there are much easier pets to raise.
