It's not hard to go on tourism.
If you really can't, you can always visit a few others, like HMS Belfast in London, Blyskawica in Poland, or the old lady in Yokosuka.

25mm autocannons were made of false advertising and misguided notion that they were good.
The flak guns were decent, but only at a certain range. If a plane flew in the dead zone between the 25mms and the secondary flak, nothing could hit it.

Well, I went to Yamato Museum, Mikasa Park and Yasukuni shrine.
Mikasa only has a few references to WW2, it's obviously mostly about the battle of Tsushima. Really good stuff though, you can see the battle in full VR and also play a simulator where you can tori kaji ippai to cross the Baltic Fleet's T.
The Yushukan in Yasukuni has a really large showcase of stuff including a Zero and a Suisei, can't take pictures of most of it though.
Also went to JMSDF museum, but most of it is related to minesweeping operations post-war. You do get to go inside the "Iron Whale" Akishio submarine though.

If you have any interest in the JMSDF, there are sailors near the Yamato museum offering sea tours of the parked fleet. But I didn't go because Izumo wasn't there at the time, only Kaga.
Yokosuka also has a ferry service every hour for a tour of the harbour.
