But I have nothing better to do so I'll reply again. Re-read the beginning of part 5. When Ange becomes Featherine's miko/reader. After chick Beato is introduced.

It is mentioned at the start of Part 5, when Battler's game begins and Ange becomes Featherine's reading miko.
I'm not the best at explaining, but I can try. Beatrice would not exist without the catbox of Rokkenjima. The catbox piqued Lamda's interest and Lambda gave Beatrice life so she could use her in a game with Bern. All of the witch theories give her strength, due to the unknown nature of the actual massacre.
Beatrice was "born" when Battler almost drowned and lost his memory, thus closing the lid on the truth in the catbox.
