I don't understand why are people pretending this is a recent thing with Type Moon in general. Type Moon stuff has NEVER, not once, in it's entire 23 years of existence, gotten a good English translation of anything. EVER. Not a one. And a timely one? FGO is the closest and that's 2 years behind.
It's fucking crazy when you think about it.
Type Moon supposedly has this huge-ass and super autistic about the smallest details and muh lore and muh plot fanbase in the West and yet for fucking anything to get translated is an odyssey. You'd think at least two or three js06-tier autists would pop-up but there's not a single one. All the autists we get are nothing but attention and drama whores who are more interested on becoming "icons" of the "community" than anything else.
Meanwhile you go and look at fanbase of literally who mid-size niche franchise composed of 20 people and the second something new gets released they release a 10/10 translation, an actual translation, not a "localization" or any crap like that, in less than a week. Type Moon? LOL.
