To be fair, the page is really cut-and-dry right now, all it makes apparent is that it'll have a phone app it connects to (duh), and that it needs to be online all the time. You can speculate a bit from that but I wish that, since you can already straight-up order the thing, they would at least put some basic information out. It doesn't help that there's a warning at the bottom of the page that says that functions and features are subject to change without further notice.

I'm still excited for it because of what it can potentially be in relation to the conversation partner. But the lack of info is rather sleazy indeed.

This goes both ways though, going back to the Amazon Echo thing, even if some features in the EU version are missing, you can apparently order a US version and use all of its features in Europe just fine, and the only things that'll be broken is the date and time. So you could potentially order a Japanese version of this, and have those functions work in the US as well.
