I went into it with so little knowledge of the game outside of a few pictures and the trailer. I thought it was going to be a psychological horror with a whodunnit dynamic where we try to find the killer amongst us in a isolated setting but that was way off.

Despite that I enjoyed it, I can understand not really getting into the characters since with each chronobox some characters never appearing again or some having their personality become something entirely new. So if there was a character you might have enjoyed and wanted to see more of and potentially get more fleshed out you couldnt. I still think the scenario writer did a great job at nailing that sort of surreal/creepy feeling throughout the game though. I love the isolated feeling the player themselves get as the world around them feels off but everyone treats it as commonplace.

Im not really a fan of the mystery just getting chalked up to it being a virtual world. It feels like the writer didnt spend enough time in trying to tie all this together and just went with whatever he thought of on the spot. I will say at least the MC has a motivation for wanting to get himself into that virtual world.
