There really are 2 different groups of people on /jp/. The 2Dfags on one side and the 3D fags on the other side. Being a 2Dfag myself, I'll try to describe them with as little bias as possible:

2D fags prefer to talk about Touhou, Hatsune Miku, Idolmaster, Visual Novels, Neta, figs, and doujin based content. Most of the 2D fags are veterans from old-/a/ that have a decent grasp of 4chan's culture.

3D fags prefer to talk about j-dramas, j-news, j-pop, the Japanese language/people, and idols. 3D fags tend to have a small understanding of 4chan's culture. This is evident in their awkward use of emoticons and double quotes ">>".

One of the few things 2D and 3Dfags have in common is that both of them enjoy NEET, ronery, and hikikomori discussions.

Have some of the others saved (although flood detection likely won't let me post), but this is the only other Cirno I have.
